With Nick Clegg and Peter Sutherland

Nick Clegg launched his second ‘Brexit Challenge’ report, which examines what Brexit means for Britain’s trading relationships – and in particular the complications of agreeing a new trade deal with the EU. The paper was drafted with help of independent experts and is co-authored by Peter Sutherland, the founding Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.

Tony Barber wrote about the event in his Financial Times, Brexit briefing, Grapling with trade options, 9 September 2016.
Charles Cooper of Politico wrote about the event in his article Former WTO boss attacks ‘total confusion’ over Brexit, 8 September 2016.
